I'm able to move more-or-less freely today, so, you know, good news. I celebrated by continuing to move the boxes that helped me to get in this situation in the first place. Smart Ross. Real smart. But hey! Writer's strike is coming to an end, so Oscars are back on, baby. I'll be able to get dressed up, eat too much, and stay up way to late to cheer and jeer a wide assortment of movies that I haven't seen. Still, I like that Jon Stewart. He's gonna be big, I can tell.
So, another win for Obama in Maine. Oh, and a Grammy. Hillary hired a new campaign manager and raised a whole heaping lot of money. John Edwards is meeting with both of the candidates as a possible prelude to endorsement. The short version appears to be that he favors Clinton's policies but Obama's politics. That'll be a big'un, if and when it comes down.
Meanwhile, Kanye's doing pretty well over at the Grammys, so all is right with the world.
ΒΆ Some sad news: Roy Scheider passed away this afternoon at 75.
